Helsinki 19 October 2006 Eija and I traveled to Helsinki for a few days during my Autumn Break. The first night Eija took me to an amusement park called Linnanmäki. The second day we went to an art museum called Ateneum and walked around downtown Helsinki. On our last day we visited a science museum called Heureka before we started our 7 hour drive back to Kuhmo. |

Vuokatti 14 October 2006 I spent the weekend with 17 other exchange students at a major ski resort just outside of Sotkamo called Vuokatti. The others are from Australia, Switzerland, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and the US. Most of our time was spent in the cabins playing games and sharing stories. Saturday we also went on a guided tour through the woods that surround the resort, played a few games, and had a Talent Show |

Ruskatrööttä 8 October 2006 I went to a weekend music camp in Rantasalmi, called Ruskatrööttä, in early October with some of my friends. Friday morning we left for a 7 hour bus ride. When we arrived we watched a concert and had our fist rehearsal. Rehearsals continued Saturday and Sunday morning. Then we had our concert. Then we loaded the bus again for the ride home. |
